Congregation Shaar Hashomayim, a non-affiliated traditional synagogue welcomes and encourages new members.

The quality of our prayer services is widely regarded and we offer a vast array of programming for all ages, including educational, youth, social and musical activities. We take particular pride in the way we celebrate the Jewish Festivals.

Members are entitled to purchase seats in the Main Sanctuary for the High Holy Days and reserve burial plots in the beautiful Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery at the top of Mount Royal.
