Jenny Hoppenheim is a devoted community leader and activist. She serves as a director for the Mel Hoppenheim Family Foundation and is actively involved with the Concordia student group Start Up Nation as a member of their advisory board where she provides financial, strategic and operational support.

Lillian Vineberg-Goodman was the first woman to chair Concordia's Board of Governors from 1999 to 2003.

Her guidance has improved scores of institutions and organizations across the city, from the Jewish General Hospital, the Hope & Cope Cancer Wellness Centre, and the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights. In 2024,  she was chosen as the Person of the Year for the Jewish Community Foundation, which distributes funds to individuals and groups in need. 

Anastasia Zorchinsky is the Founder and President of The StartUp Nation & is an International Business Student at John Molson School of Business.
