Edward Bronfman Museum

Showcasing our history and heritage

The Museum is open daily for viewing, with special tours available by appointment.

Our permanent exhibit includes ceremonial objects that reflect the rituals of Jewish life and the Jewish holiday cycle. Also on display are archival photos and objects representing the history of the Shaar from its inception in 1846 on St. Constant Street.

Our rotating exhibits showcase artifacts from the various aspects of Jewish life, as well as the historical contribution of our congregation to the Montreal Jewish community-at-large.
Do you have artifacts that you would like added to our museum collection? We would be happy to make an assessment.

Donations to the Edward Bronfman Museum Fund are welcome.
