As we lead up to Chanukah, we will study a piece from Tractate Shabbat dealing with the history and laws of Chanukah. We will learn the basics of what the Talmud is, key concepts and terms, and begin to enter into the world of Talmudic thinking, all while learning some practical applications to our modern day Jewish practice.
