Be part of a meaningful morning at Zera Café, preparing delicious homemade meals with the staff from Zera Café.

MADA – With Bar/Bat Mitzvah Families

Thursday, December 4 — 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
An interactive volunteer experience at MADA Center preparing boxes to be delivered for Shabbat.

Avalanche Kidz Hockey
With Ritual Director Yosi Even-Hen

Hit the ice with Avalanche Kidz hockey— an organization that provides neuro-divergent kids a safe and inclusive space where they can build confidence, improve social skills, and enjoy the game of hockey.

Friendship Circle
With Rabbi Yoshua Ellis
Sunday, December 7 — 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM (40 kids maximum, ages 4-11)
Participate in a delicious and engaging chocolate-making workshop, followed by an inclusive art activity and playtime in the Friendship Circle’s jungle gym. 

Kerry’s Kitchen

Prepare meals for cancer patients and their families in the Shaar kitchen. Kerry’s Kitchen is an initiative of En Famille, a Hope & Cope program of the Jewish General Hospital.

JEM Workshop

Wednesday, December 10 — 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (20 people maximum)
Join Rabbi Adam Scheier and Ritual Director Yosi Even-Hen for a hands-on volunteer experience with the JEM Workshop, an organization dedicated to providing adapted and meaningful employment to individuals with diverse abilities.
